PrintSticky Sweet Chili Chicken Bites are crisped to perfection and glazed with a flavorful sweet and spicy sauce. Perfect as a main dish or shareable appetizer.
1 lb boneless chicken breast or thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 cup cornstarch or potato starch
1 egg white (optional)
Neutral oil for cooking
1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp grated ginger
Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish (optional)
Cut chicken into bite-size pieces and pat dry.
Dip in egg white (optional), then coat in cornstarch.
Fry, bake, or air fry until golden and crispy.
In a saucepan, combine chili sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
Toss hot chicken in the warm glaze until coated.
Serve immediately, topped with sesame seeds and scallions.
