A rich and flavorful casserole layered with creamy chicken, gooey cheese, and crispy Doritos. This easy, family-friendly dinner is loaded with Tex-Mex flavor and perfect for busy nights.

Ingredients

3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
1 packet taco seasoning
2½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 (9.75 oz) bag Nacho Cheese Doritos, lightly crushed
Optional: chopped green onions, black beans, corn

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • In a large bowl, mix chicken, soup, sour cream, tomatoes, taco seasoning, and 1½ cups cheese.

  • Spread a layer of crushed Doritos in the bottom of the dish.

  • Spoon half the chicken mixture over the chips.

  • Add another layer of crushed Doritos, then the remaining chicken mixture.

  • Top with remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese.

  • Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

  • Sprinkle more crushed Doritos and green onions on top before serving.
