PrintA rich and flavorful casserole layered with creamy chicken, gooey cheese, and crispy Doritos. This easy, family-friendly dinner is loaded with Tex-Mex flavor and perfect for busy nights.
3 cups cooked shredded chicken
1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
1 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies, drained
1 packet taco seasoning
2½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 (9.75 oz) bag Nacho Cheese Doritos, lightly crushed
Optional: chopped green onions, black beans, corn
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
In a large bowl, mix chicken, soup, sour cream, tomatoes, taco seasoning, and 1½ cups cheese.
Spread a layer of crushed Doritos in the bottom of the dish.
Spoon half the chicken mixture over the chips.
Add another layer of crushed Doritos, then the remaining chicken mixture.
Top with remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese.
Bake uncovered for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Sprinkle more crushed Doritos and green onions on top before serving.
