1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)
1 egg
1/3 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
2 green onions, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive or avocado oil
For the Sauce:
1/3 cup honey
3 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp cornstarch
2 tbsp water
In a bowl, mix ground turkey, egg, breadcrumbs, green onions, garlic, tamari, salt, and pepper.
Shape into 18–20 small meatballs.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown meatballs on all sides, about 6–8 minutes.
In a bowl, whisk honey, tamari, vinegar, garlic, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover and simmer for 7–8 minutes until fully cooked and sauce thickens.
Serve hot, garnished as desired.
