PrintA hearty loaf of garlic bread filled with creamy shredded chicken, garlic butter, and melty cheese. Baked to golden perfection and perfect for sharing.
2 cups cooked shredded chicken
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
4 oz cream cheese, softened
1½ cups shredded mozzarella
½ cup grated Parmesan
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1 large crusty French or Italian bread loaf
1 tablespoon olive oil (optional)
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Melt butter, add garlic, cook until fragrant. Stir in parsley.
In a bowl, mix chicken, cream cheese, 1 cup mozzarella, ¼ cup Parmesan, seasoning, and a spoonful of garlic butter.
Slice bread lengthwise and hollow out some of the center.
Fill with chicken mixture, top with remaining cheese.
Close the loaf, brush with garlic butter and olive oil.
Wrap in foil and bake for 20 minutes.
Unwrap and bake for another 8–10 minutes until golden.
Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
