4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Cut chicken into thinner pieces if needed. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan.
Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Deglaze pan with chicken broth. Scrape up browned bits and simmer 3–4 minutes.
Stir in lemon juice. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer 2–3 minutes more.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
