A flavorful skillet chicken dish made with juicy pan-seared pieces and a rich, garlicky butter sauce. It’s quick, easy, and full of bold flavor — perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 5 garlic cloves, minced

  • ½ cup low-sodium chicken broth

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

  • Optional: chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Cut chicken into thinner pieces if needed. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning.

  • Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until browned and cooked through. Remove from pan.

  • Reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter and garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  • Deglaze pan with chicken broth. Scrape up browned bits and simmer 3–4 minutes.

  • Stir in lemon juice. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over the top. Simmer 2–3 minutes more.

  • Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
