Creamy Jalapeño Popper Chicken Bake combines tender, seasoned chicken with a spicy cream cheese layer, melted cheddar, and crisp bacon. It’s an easy, bold, and satisfying meal with rich flavor and just the right amount of spice.

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided
2 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 green onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Place in the dish.

  • Mix cream cheese, sour cream, 1/2 cup cheddar, jalapeños, and half the bacon in a bowl.

  • Spread mixture over each chicken breast evenly.

  • Top with the remaining cheddar and bacon.

  • Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

  • Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and chicken is done.

  • Let rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with green onions and serve.
