PrintSoft buttery bars topped with a smooth and creamy baked cream cheese layer.
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar, divided
1 egg for crust
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 eggs for filling
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch pan.
Cream butter and 1 cup sugar, then add 1 egg.
Mix in flour and salt and press into pan.
Bake crust 12 to 15 minutes.
Beat cream cheese and remaining sugar until smooth.
Add 2 eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
Pour filling over crust.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes until set.
Cool completely before slicing.
Refrigerate before cutting for clean slices.
