Golden-seared steak cubes tossed in a zesty garlic butter sauce made with lemon, Dijon, herbs, and a hint of red pepper. Ready in 25 minutes for dinner or entertaining.

Ingredients

1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

  • Pat steak dry and season with salt and pepper.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.

  • Sear steak cubes in batches for 1½–2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • Lower heat and melt butter in the same pan.

  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

  • Stir in mustard, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

  • Return steak to skillet and toss to coat.

  • Stir in herbs and serve hot.
