4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
2 tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
⅓ cup balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
Add balsamic vinegar and honey. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Return chicken to pan, coat in glaze, and cook 1–2 more minutes.
Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve hot.
Use thighs for juicier results; breasts for leaner.
Add cherry tomatoes or spinach for extra veggies.
Store leftovers in fridge up to 4 days.
