Balsamic Chicken – Juicy, Glazed, and Full of Flavor

A quick and flavorful skillet chicken glazed in a sweet-tangy balsamic sauce with garlic and herbs. Juicy, elegant, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ⅓ cup balsamic vinegar

  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Optional: fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds.

  • Add balsamic vinegar and honey. Simmer 3–5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  • Return chicken to pan, coat in glaze, and cook 1–2 more minutes.

  • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use thighs for juicier results; breasts for leaner.

  • Add cherry tomatoes or spinach for extra veggies.

  • Store leftovers in fridge up to 4 days.
